Southampton Typeface

The result of a one-week long workshop with one of the world´s greatest type designers, David Quay.

The font is designed from scratch, and the whole development process is done by hand.  Southampton is the source of inspiration, resulting in sharp edges in contrast to round, soft shapes.  This reflects the city´s atmosphere.

By the end of the workshop, David proclaimed the winners of the best

fonts. He gave me a personal note to keep.
