This banner promotes the book “Better”, featuring the subject of hacking. All elements on the banner play an important part, visualizing and introducing people to hacking. The word “create” is accompanied by destruction as the body text dissolve parts of elements and letters throughout the layout. At a close glance one can read supporting quotes from Nietzche and excerpts from the book.

The blocks popping out of the banner, disrupts the layout, making “glitches”. They also look like building bricks, giving a sense of construction at the same time, which is exactly what hacking is aimed towards in Better.
